Do you know Barney Frank? he is the openly queer democrat, who is chairman of the House Banking Committee? He is the one who did not know there was a male homo prostitution ring running out of his basement. And, his queer boy-toy friend was the big queen.... Well, Barney is one of the crooks who is responsible for the financial mess we are in. And, they are all democrats.. Vote Obama Put the blame where it belongs.
If the bailout passes (and that it failed yesterday, thank goodness for the Republicans and a few brave Democrats), what we are seeing, is the biggest government take over of America's financial system. Some day, your great grandchildren will read about all this... and see it is a, "wonderful day, when "BIG BROTHER" helped his country and took care of the poor people. 1984 was right on the mark.
Don't let me influence your selection of person of the month, but we would like you to feature Christy one month
i CAN'T WAIT! ANTICIPATION....It's making me wait.
Kurt You guys are hilarious! Glad you had fun on the boat
Nice going Amber. Can you have a seagull for dinner? Tastes like chicken?
WHO WILL THE WEBMASTER FEATURE FOR OCTOBER?
Mark Twain said, when a child turns thirteen, put them in a barrel and feed them through a hole in the barrel, and when they turn fifteen, close the hole.
CONOR, what are you doing today? Buddy and I am thinking about you. I like to see you in your scout uniform. I love you forever and always. Your Grandpa
SARAH BEA, I am thinking about you. I am so proud of you. It was so good to talk with you. You are my dear Grand daughter. Do your ears burn right now? that is because I am thinking of you. My love always, your Grandpa
Can't wait to see the person featured in the October Actnuts. I will never forget the one you did on Mama and me. You are superman and Batman all rolled up in to one. Love, your Dad
Here is what the Lord thinks about not being commited to one belief... 1 Kings 18:20-22 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel. Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him." But the people said nothing.
Hey Claude, good to hear from you. I am as straight as six O'clock. Hard core. Kill em all but six and save them to carry out the libs. There is RIGHT, AND THE OTHER SIDE IS WRONG. If you find two people always agreeing, one is eating it! How ya doin? Seems like a long time since we sat down together. One of these days, We must get some Johnstown Brats and split some pink lemon aide. Missed you today. I had a great ride today. Did you watch the debate? Can't wait to see Sarah tear up Joe. Love Ya, your Dad
Dad: You are too one-sided in your comments; you and my brother John should get together. He from the far Left and you from the far Right. John pulls no punches either and he is as fervant a Believer as you in his positions---plus he is President of the local Musicians Union, so watch-out for Vinnie. Love you but I don't always agree with how you present the material. Claude
The terrible financial mess the Country is in today, can and must be laid at the feet of liberalism. A number of liberal democrat’s in the Congress, cobbled together to fleece the public. One of them made 90 million dollars over six years. The ruse to give housing to “sub prime” lenders (They can’t pay their mortgage) who should not have gotten loans is the principle cause of the problem. Listen up folks! Liberalism is mental illness and it does not work. People like us, who pay our bills every month, and are paying on our mortgages, are the ones who will end up getting screwed. If you need names of the culprits for the Nations’ financial crisis, Goggle, Raines, and Jones and Dodd and Frank, all liberal democrats. (Are there any other kind?) Don’t let anyone tell you it was a lack of regulation. Bush and McCain and other Conservative Republicans have been pleading for years for investigations of the nations’ financial giants. The democrats have blocked those requests.
A song is no song till you sing it, a bell is no bell till you ring it, and love isn’t love till you give it away. Love isn’t love till you give it away. (Maria, in Sound of Music.)
Happiness is having your son for dinner and conversation. Kurt, we thoroughly enjoyed your company. There is food and wine awaiting you every meal. Just call ahead. Love, your Dad

Blessed are the CONSERVATIVES!!
Please! more words from our LORD. In times of need, a few words from JESUS may help.
Tonight we go to bed as Americans. Tomorrow?
My dearest Family, we are going down to the wire. Next month at this time, it will all be over, for right or for wrong. There is still time to contact your kids, or anyone else who needs to make one of the most important decisions they will make during their lives. There are still a very small number of people who have not made up their minds on who to vote for. A few good words to them just might make the difference if it comes from you. Please believe me when I say that if Obama/Biden win the election, it will be the greatest disaster this Nation has ever experienced. Neither of these men have the character, experience or reliability to lead this Country. Mama and I will not have to live with the decisions that are made next month. But you and your children will. MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA. Lovingly, your Dad
Well, I am really impressed. Jesus, the Lord God Almighty was on the Guest Book. I agree, you all better get your houses in order, cause the day of rekonning is approaching. There are many who believe, and a few who do not believe. But, I have seen the elephant and I can tell you, when your life, and or the lives of those you love are in danger, everyone calls on God to save them. God is great, God is good! Bless the Name of the Lord! signed, a faithful servant.
2 Thessalonians 5-10 All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.
Does anyone know what is going on? Well, not many of us.Hang on to your hat, keep your safety belt on, your guns loaded and handy.
Aunt Christy, you look great! Hope you're doing good! :)
Opposites attract? Likes repel? Yes, that is the way it is in physics. In fact, it is a law. But in life, it is most often just the opposite. Positives attract each other. But negatives attract each other as well. Who wants to be with a negative? You say? Well, negatives often love each other. Positives do not want to be with negatives? Of course not. Think about it. Does anyone want to be with someone who is always negative? Ask someone how they are and they start complaining. Bah, humbug! We want to steer clear of people like that. But some people love to hang out with negative people. Ever hear, misery loves company? And so it is in nearly everything in our lives. Music? How many hang out with people who like different music than we do? Rock and roll, with classical music? Hardly! How about sports? You like football? do you hang out with those who like shuffleboard? Well you get the pitch. Likes attract. Oh yes, how about the animal world? Ever see a Crow mated with a Blue Jay? Have a good day.

I hope your school year will be successful and profitable, Christy. I am so proud of you. Teaching is one of the most important professions anyone could ever do. The success of our children depends upon teachers like you. I love you, Dad
Thanks Joe! I miss you guys as well :^(
Every forest has at least one tree that has something wrong with it. A disease, a flaw, a broken branch. Whatever. Do you look at the forest from a distance and say, what a beautiful forest? Or do you look closely and say, there are many broken limbs in that forest? it must be diseased. What is your take on life? Do you notice how rotten it is and how flawed the people are? Or do you say, life is great? I am happy. I am so very lucky to be alive and I am wealthy beyond words because my family loves me and I love them? We are influenced by the people we live with and those we associate with. And the information we receive through hundreds of media forms the way we think and speak and act. Thus, if you are surrounded by negative influences, how can you be positive? Life can be terrible or it can be beautiful.
kurt- i think the pictures you post, the short films you create, the edits you make , the writings of your words, speaking your thoughts and selection of music too, are your gifts to others. while unknowingly to them or possibly to yourself that though you haven't the time to visit or call as often as you would like such as holidays that you at times have missed and birthdays & gatherings too, mostly because of work not because you didn't want to be there sharing these special days, you pass along the gift that keeps on giving each day that ends in "Y"- It doesn't come to their front door adorned with ribbons and bows. It doesn't have an expiration date, there isn't a way to take it back if it doesn't fit them or is the wrong color. It's the pages of your heart being written and pieced together carefully and thoughtfully. ..... they too give you this in return. You've become the author of a book that has many many unwritten pages. One day when you lease expect it -the last chapter will start, the last page written. Only you know when this will be and how you want the last page filled. Until then I see chapters of many holidays to come, pages of your fathers beautiful writings of memories and what is, as he sees it today. Graduations, celebrations, babies crying and yes, sorrow, sadness & loss. Happiness & I miss yous from family members checking in with everyone. Simply put- Life will continue to fill the pages of your book. I thank you all for allowing me to visit through the years to see that life is really about acting nuts,, smiling and thanking God for those we are fortunate to have in our lives that love us and are accepting of us for being who we are. tma
My eyes strained to find Christy, and then, I caught glimpses of her. Oh how I miss her. Christy, you look so pretty. Don't forget me. Love, Dad
Kurt you are the BOMB BABY!!! KURRRRRRTTTTTT!!!
Kurt, actnuts is great. You are so smart to be able to do all this for the family. Love you and proud of you
Kurt, another masterpiece. The pictures of Conor are beautiful beyond words. And to think, he is now six and going out to celebrate his birthday to a restarunt where they throw peanut shells on the floor. Thank you for being our son. You have done us proud. Love, your Dad
Christy, It was great to see your post in the guest book. I love you and always will. I miss the good old times. I have so many fond memories that include you. Life will never be the same. Love Always and forever, Dad
THE ONLY THING WE HAVE TO FEAR, IS FEAR IT’S SELF. FDR, in his inaugural address on becoming President of the United States. 4 Mar 1933. (The Great Depression was not ended by FDR, as the dems and libs continue to tell us, it was WW2
GOD IS GREAT, GOD IS GOOD!
Beautiful video Kurt!
Kurt: Thanks for sharing your video thoughts with all of us. It is a fitting tribute.
A good day is when your first born son visits by surprise. Life is so good I hate to mention it cause it might be taken away from us. Ha ha
Hey Sarah, I could reach out and hug you. I misss you so. Good luck at Target. I will be thinking about you. Play Kurt's video to see some great pictures. 'The way we were'. Love, your Grandpa
Thinking about you all. Hope to see you all soon. I have job orientation today, a new chapter in my life. Love you all to the moon and back.
Kurt, your video is beautiful. What more can I say.
Yes, Kurt, there is life after death. We live on, as long as we are remembered. Or that is how I feel. I still honor my parents even to this very day. There are many times that I remember what my parents said to me. And I still remember my grandparents and I know that they all loved me. I remember the things my Grandma and Grandpa said to me. I remember what they told me to do. I am a composite of all the people I knew throughout my life. As the end approaches, I think on the events of my life and how they influenced me. I knew good people and bad people and I am changed somehow by everyone of them. I do not expect to die soon, but what does soon mean? No one knows when they will die or how they will do it, only that it will happen one day, when we least expect it. I just hope that I will have time to say good bye to you all before it happens. I would not like to go before I say how much I love you all and how much your love has helped me through the hard times. In a way, I will be saying good bye in the words that I write to you in this way. As you know, I have not been easy to live with and I know, you and I have clashed from time to time; sometimes over mole hills and other times over mountains. If I have hurt you, I am sorry
When I listen to most of the people I know on the street, you know, the 75% that are ignorant, I hear that the “rich are getting richer.” WOW!! They just got it? Of course, the rich are getting richer. The rich are always getting richer. And you might add that the poor are still poor. The poor have always been poor, going back to the time of Jesus. Why? Well it is all about economics and of course, ignorance. The rich get rich because they understand economics. And, they are the 10% or less that are smart. If you gave a hundred dollars to a hundred people, in a short time, ten percent will end up with all the money. I majored in Economics when I was in college. The first law that I learned was the law of Supply and Demand. It is so simple and so right that I am surprised that everyone does not understand. I will not explain because I know you understand the law. But, the ignorant people in our country don’t understand. Or if they do, they do not choose to understand that it pertains to them. So, when you hear that the rich are getting richer, consider the source and just smile. You will never make an ignorant person, smart. By the way, has anyone ever gotten a job from a poor person?
Conor got a Guinea Pig.
I just watched the 911 political form on FOX, John McCain was first, followed by Obama. As John answered the questions, I thought, YES! YES! That is how I think. I can vote for that man. He must be the President of The United States! When the political campaign began, I did not have a positive attitude toward McCain. He has so often pissed me off. Some of his actions as a Senator, made me think that he was just a RINO. What has happened since that time makes me think that he must have had an epiphany. Now, I am convinced that McCain is REALY the best choice for President. Moreover, his selection of Sarah is VP is pure genius. I know you read my, Dear Family letters and I know you all read my posts in The Guest Book. And even though you do not always reply, I feel that my thoughts on life do resonate with you. I often feel that I have a “Bully Pulpit”, where it is my responsibility to give you my opinions on life. And so, I will continue to do so, until I cannot use this canvas any longer. My love, your Dad
What an honor to be invited to the skybox. Great memory. Hunter, you have seen what success can bring. Look up! Be all you can be. You are so talented; Sports, music your fantastic education record and parents you can revere. They have set the example. You can do anything you want in your life. Grandma and I are so very proud of you. Love always, your Grandparents.
Legend says that if you take a picture of a hamster you steal its sole.
Life is great when you wake up to find Amber and her Dad in the house. What neat kids and grandkids we have. Makes one want to live a thousand years.
Sarah, please take a picture of Conor with his hamster. The job of parents is to spoil their kids. Would you agree?
Grandpa! I think once I start target, I wont manage the boys volleyball team anymore so that will help. I miss you, talk to you soon. Love you all.
Hunter you are great. I would hate to have you hit me. Love, your Grandpa
Sarah, it is so good to see your post. I miss you too. You are a busy young woman. How will you ever be able to do it all when you begin work at Target? I love you, your GP

REMEMBER 911,Pearl Harbor,Ft. Sumpter,The Main, The Alamo, Concord Bridge. Those who do not remember the lessons of the past are doomed to repeat them.
What is the difference between a woman and a battery? Ans; A battery has a positive.
The Guestbook is history. I love to read what people say about their lives. Some day, in the future, perhaps someone will read and ponder. What will they do? Will the Bowman family survive? will cousins meet and communicate? Will our history be interesting to members of our family? The only thing that is certain,is death and taxes. We do not even know what will happen the next hour, let alone the next day. Is that cynical? Some sarcastic SOB will have something to say abut it. Kurt, I love you for this webpage.
Another great week begins here in Tally. Sights and sounds of autumn are every where. The leaves are falling and some trees are tunrning red and gold. Life is great and it couldn't be better. I hope all of you are in good shape and feeling fine. Remember, if you think you are rich, you are... but if you think you are not, then you aren't. I am rich because I can get up in the morning and be happy the rest of the day. Wealth cannot always be counted in money and things. Love, your Dad
For the history books, Fantastics was the best. The Little Theater does a good job.
Daddy O’ (daddy, oh) I have been called that from time to time by some of you. And being unfamiliar with the meaning, I decided to look it up. I wasn’t sure if it was a term of endearment or if it was condescending or patronizing. It sounded like something that came from hip- culture or from the hood or whatever. Turns out that there are so many meanings that it is whatever one thinks it means. Sounds flip doesn’t it? Like the home boys speaking “Ebonics”, referring to their “Yo, Uncle.” I have decided that it comes from the movie, Black Board Jungle where hipsters used it to refer to other hipsters. So, now you know?
SARAH PALIN! what an awesome VP she will make. John did a bang- up- job last night also. We could just win this thing. Can you imagine anyone in their right mind voting for obama? what a waste of skin he is. What has he ever done in his life but make a few speeches that he didn't write and he can only read because it was on the teleprinter. And, Joe Biden? what has he ever done but ride the train every morning to work. dems? ugh
If there was some crystal ball that could fortell the future, I would play the market,or the lottery or the horses and become rich and famous and give you all five hundred million bucks to ruin your lives. Or I might find that I had beeen dying all of my life and only had a week to live. That is why God did not give us the power that only He has. Only fools think they know what will happen tomorrow.
THANK GOODNESS THERE IS NOT A CLOCK TO SEE FUTURE SEPTEMBERS
ANGER! For want of a better word is, GOOD. Yes, anger makes the blood boil. Anger makes us pissed off. Anger gets us going. Anger is what made the Colonists rise up and brings freedom to the new world. Anger made the United States defeat the AXIS after Pearl Harbor. Anger makes the boss correct the inefficient worker. Anger makes us get our kids moving. Anger is the immovable object that brings change to our lives.
Time, you thief! What a great thing.... Kurt, you are a master. I loved the pictures and the comments. There is something for every one. I love you, Your Dad
