I like to go to the flea market. I see the "real people". The common people, who make this country run. They do the jobs that no one else wants to do. I talk with the merchants and observe the people in their natural habitat. I like to smell the odors of commerce being enacted. And most of all, I like to hear the sounds of the marketplace. Where ever I go, I try to find a flea market to see the local people and hear their accents and their costumes. I love people and always find a few that I could be friends with. From time to time Imeet people who I have met before. Beautiful women are my favorites.
Hope every one had a good week. I liked the cooler weather but I still did not go outdoors very much. Joe and I did do the Flea Market yesterday. First I had been there for a long time. Not much there and not many people either but we were there early. I have been busy with apppointments and doing small things around the house. I seem to be lazy. Hope to be seeing every one soon. Thanks for Labor Day Christy & Kurt. It was fun and enjoyable. Hope I was not too much of a shock for showing up in a bathing suit. Smiles! We enjoyed seeing everyone. At first I was surprised and thrilled to hear topics discussed that I had never heard before. The topics were critical of government. However, the topics also covered politics and everything and anything. People from all walks of life called in. There were doctors and lawyers and the man on the street. The host on WWDB in Philadelphia was so interesting and he challenged current thinking. Some times I disagreed violently with the callers and there were times that I also disagreed with both the caller and the host. But more often, I agreed with what was being discussed. I was fascinated… And I was hooked. I continued to listen to TALK RADIO, and wherever I was, I tuned in to the radio to listen to the local talk hosts. Then in 1985, I first heard RUSH LIMBAUGH. He discussed topics that were national and international in nature. I thought, he says what I have thought most of my life. By then, I knew that I was a hard corps CONSERVATIVE. The rest is history. I feel that TALK RADIO is the ONLY way the people can and do express themselves. It is the FRIST AMENDMENT in action. JRB
