March 2007 News Vault

March is here!

03.01

I'm so glad we have a new month.  Each new day is a mystery.  Each new month invites limitless possibilities.  Many who wake up in the morning won't be alive by the time the sun goes down.  Take in the day.  Rejoice in it.  Go ahead and eat that sugar.  We may not have the opportunity tomorrow.

Clearwater Swim Meet

Norman Zimmerman R.I.P.

03.30

No longer will you be a tormented soul.  I will always remember you fondly.   I didn't even know he was missing.  He was found today, two months after he was reported missing.  He didn't want to live any longer.  He drove into the desert and ended his life.

Great pictures Kurt. Now they are a part of history. Some day many years in the future, young members of our family may look at them and wonder what kind of nutty people were their ancestors. Thank you for Actnuts. It is history.

Good morning Bowman family. I hope the sea subsides for you. Mal de Mare is a terrible sickness. I have never had that malady but I know many others who have. Your vacation is coming to an end and soon all you will have is memories. But that is life. Back to the grindstone. See you all soon. Love Dad

Hello to all the Bowman's out at sea. I know you are having an awesome time. You all deserve a rest, so don't over do it. When they pass the food and booze, pass it up and think of how hard it will be to loose it. Swim, snorkle, dance and just relax. We are thinking of you and hope every day will be better than the last. Love, Mama and Dad

That ship looks great. Don't lean out the porthole Kurt. They found that guy who "fell in" and he had been in the water for 8 hours. I wonder what he was saying as he floated along, waiting for a shark to nibble on his foot?

We have VISTA and have had only a few problems. Claude seems to have worked most out. Advise is to give it some time before you upgrade to VISTA. Eventually all the bugs will be worked out of it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KIM! I can remember the special day you were born, so clearly. More than half a century ago. But I can see the hospital room like it was yesterday. When I hear the problems they are having at Walter Reed, I think of the rickety place you where you were born in Camp Kilmer, NJ. People don't know how lucky they have it today. I never will forget that phone call telling me that we had a son. Our first born! I love you. Your only Dad

Good advice Kurt! This early morning (0130) as Mama and I lay side by side in bed, we listened to the thunder and marveled at the tremendous power that GOD can create. The lightning provided a beautiful light show and made me realize that we humans are so weak and insignificant. It made me humble and I knew that I am so lucky to be alive when so many others that I have known have passed on. All (except one) of my old friends and comrades have gone. There are none of them that I can correspond with. There are none that I can share my deepest thoughts with. But sometimes, I can hear them calling to me. Come home...But, I still have many miles to go before I sleep. Many miles to go....

Whats this? another version of windows??? What did you think of the thunder last night? Awesome in the least. Is Man capable of creating that kind of power?
