hope everyone has a fun and exciting week. The sun will be back soon to brighten up our faces. I have a busy week so here I go to get started on it. Love to all and hugs too
Most of us have the chance to accept the challenge of opportunity in our lives. Some accept that challenge. Others do not. Others accept and fail. But today, I am so proud of Adam, that he has accepted the challenge of working for Legacy Toyota. Adam, is more than qualified. He has proven himself at his job at Super lube. He is punctual, reliable and a industrious worker. But he was given the opportunity to accept one of the most important challenges in his young life. He begins work at Legacy Toyota and I for one am totally proud of Adam. Go for it ADAM, you are a winner.
Grandpa wishes he would have taken Hunter's picture in the shirt. He is a cute Kid. I love the saying about not wanting to grow up. A cute play and fun to be out with you all. Next time hope we have more time for visiting. Have a good day and a nice weekend. Lots of love

It was great to spend the evening with Christy, Kurt, Amber and Hunter. We attended the production of Peter Pan at the Civic Center. The play was great and being with our family was even better. Thank you Christy and Kurt. We love you. Bea and Joe
I am back. Even before THE FAMILY knew I was gone, I returned from the hospital. Alive, if not well.
Why do 99% of "THE FAMILY" drive Toyota's purchased at Legacy Toyota of Tallahassee? I will tell you why! because Toyota rules. They are the best and The Family only drives the best.
Working with him in the backyard(destroying everything we did two summers ago). Then both complaining of all of our aches and pains.

Amber is was great traveling with you to Savannah, you did a good job at your swim meet. Kurt and Hunter I am glad you survived without us. Laundry, Wow Kurt, I was impressed!
We are home once more. Safe and sound. Thanks to all those who made our trip to the aquarium in Atlanta an unforgetable experience. It will take a long time to recall all that we have seen and done in such a short time. Shipley Family and Roberson Family, Mama and I thank you for one of the greatest trips we have ever had. Love to all Mama and Dad

On Friday morning, we are heading up to Atlanta with the Shipley's and the Roberson's to visit the aquarium. It will be a fun trip cause we are all going in the same car. No more looking out the window or asking, "When are we going to get there." Imagine us all sleeping in the same bedroom! I hope no one tries anything. I will be sleeping on my good ear.
Sorry we missed your birthday party Amber. Looks like you had a lot of fun! We have a present for you and will drop it by sometime this week.
9 January, 1964! I will never forget that date. I was commander of Company B, 4th Battalion, Mechanized, 20th Infantry, 193rd Infantry Brigade. My company was the alert company for the Panama Canal. When rioters from Panama, entered the Canal Zone, my orders were to close the Canal Zone with all available force. That night, my 98 men went to the border of the Canal Zone which was Forth of July Avenue. That night was the first time that I was shot at by enemy snipers. In the next three days, my company closed entry into the Canal Zone. It would be a time that I will never forget. Tonight, all over the world, there are members of the Armed forces of the United States on guard. It is men and women like that who are on duty guarding our Nation's freedom.

Thanks for having us to help celebrate Amber's 'sweet sixteen birthday'. Time has gone fast but we have many memories and will collect more memories as the years go by. It was lots of fun and I enjoyed seeing everyone. Love to all Now I need help in getting the pictures to Wal-Mart.
Thanks Mom,Dad,Meme, Uncle Brian and Aunt Shane for coming to dinner tonight. It was fun starting out the new year with you guys.
