When we used to go to visit the Sura's over in Slidel, Rudy often told me about the worst case senario. A super hurrican would hit New Orleans and the levi would break and the city of New Orleans would be flooded. They knew it was coming. Eventually such a senario would happen and now it has. When you build a city lower than sea level, disaster is on its way. The same goes for anyone who builds a house along the Gulf of Mexico or any river. Someday they will be sorry they did. And yet, they still continue to tempt fate. I remember in Millersburg when the "big flood of 1936" wiped out the houses along the Susquehanna and afterward they rebuilt their houses along the river. Now you know why the old timers did not build their house along the Gulf of Mexico. Where are our "friends" now? Americans help every nation at time of need. Where are they now? who offers to help those who are flooded out in New Orleans? Yeah.

Back in the good old days, I asked Kurt what we would do during a hurricane. Well, Kurt said we would have a hurricane party. I sure am glad we don't have a hurricane like Katrina.

Thank you Toyota for our delicious anniversary dinner at Red Lobster. We enjoyed every bite of it. Toyota rules! It took our son Kurt to activate the card, so we thank him also. Love Mama and Dad

Kurt, I know what you are talking about. To be successful, one must put in long hours. Being the boss is not easy and if you do it right, and I know you do, it takes total involvement. I am so proud of you. You have achieved so much in such a short time. Your family appreciates it for they know that they are benefitting from your efforts. Living under a bridge does not ensure happiness. In fact, it would soon get "old hat"

Hi Guys! We had a good trip to Ft. Pierce and Amber did well, she placed 14th in the 100 m breastroke and 12th in the 200 m breaststroke. We had fun traveling together and getting to know the team better. I am glad that Kurt and Hunter are in one piece and so is my house. Thanks boys, you did a good job.
