Mean Jenne is coming. As I look out my window, the trees are bending and I hope they do not break. Those who believe in God know that He knows when a sparrow falls. Can anyone who has that clout not care about a hurricane? Some say that God is punishing Florida for the 2000 Republican win. Who knows? its all too big for me. I just hope we survive another hurricane and that tomorrow we have a house over our head and power to cook breakfast. Poor little Conor does not know where home is. He goes with the flow and where ever his Mama goes. Good night family. Mama and I love you
Last evening, "we" came together to help Barbra load up her boxes and furniture in "pods". What a great idea. We used to call them Connex containers back in the old Army. When I say we, it was Nina and Adam who did the most lifting. Mama helped by supervising while Conor and I supervised the supervisor. How many houses we have walked through empty houses and hear the ring that comes with emptyness. Barbra's new house is nice and she will enjoy 4 bedrooms where everyone will have their own pad. Conor is off to school today and once more, I miss him. Oh how I love him!But a child must go to school and learn the things that a parent and grandparent cannot teach. Neverthe less, Grandma and I will have had a hand in his development. We will have done our duty.
Yesterday, Conor went to school for the first full time session. I missed him terribly. So, this morning I awoke to his little voice. We spent the morning making a bonfire down by the lake. I can't tell you how much I love him. I suppose there are some who might call all this a waste of time. Playing with a little baby. Isn't there something better I might do? well wait till you are lucky enough to have time like this. I love to hear him talk and see him play and just to be with him. Is life any better than that? Too soon Conor will grwo up but I will have had a part in his development. Thank you Barbra and Derek for giving Grandma and me this special time.

Dear Family, I am back home and glad to be here. It was sorta stressful as we did not know when we were leaving. Claude was trying to get us out early but that did not work. We got back home Tuesday evening and the last 20 minutes were a bumpy ride into Tallahassee. Here we go ago being interested in Ivan. I am hoping that it will miss most of Florida and go somewhere else. Enough is enough. We have been lucky so far. Hope all are fine. Love and Hugs.
Frances, stay away from Tallahassee. What is everyone doing today? I am waiting out the storm. I feel like Hamlet. To be or not to be. To get ready for Frances or to just relax and enjoy it. Mama and Nina are coming home on Sunday rather than Monday. Reason, the hurricane. Planea are not going to fly into a hurricane. Can't blame them.
