10.16 For Christy's birthday, Les Akers invited us to the skybox to watch the Seminoles. We took the kids and their friends and let them sit out in the elements with 85,000 people. Great Parenting. |

Last evening, Mama and I watched the total eclipse of the moon. It was awesome. The next total eclipse will be in 7 years. I wonder what interesting events will happen to our family in the next 7 years. Who all will be able to watch it? Mama and I will be 81 years old. Many of the kids in our family will have grown up and in college or somewhere. Conor will be a big boy. Will we still be fighting the war on terrorism? It is all so exciting. WOW! what an awesome football game Hunter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nanny, Poppa, Daddy and I really enjoyed yelling and cheering for you and your team tonight. What an accomplishment, undefeated!!!!! You are a great football player Hunter and they could not of done without your perfect snaps.

Last night I took the kids to find a present for their mama. When we were finished we decided to try and find her at her softball game. I have never seen her play before but have heard of her serious competiveness. We arrived at her game as she was stepping up to bat. The kids and I pressed our faces against the fence and watched her plow a ball into the outfield and scramble to first base! She is awesome! I met another player last night and she exclaimed the teams confidence in Christy! Go Christy! Happy Birthday!
