Thank you Sarah and thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. I am looking forward to the procedure tomorrow because it must be done and I have the best doctors on the case. Tomorrow at this time I expect it all to be behind me. I hope that I do not have to go on to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonille. Love ya all, Dad/Grandpa

Give me a call or come see me. Grandpa is home from the hospital and we are glad of that. It was a stressful couple of days but we are thankful everything turned out good and hope to be getting rested now.

Today I baby-sat for the first time. The parents were home but they were doing stuff around the house. I baby-sat 3 boys a 4 year old (micheal) a 2 year old(john) and a 15 month old(robert) he pretty much slept the whole time..... but i had a blast. I love you all!!

Happy birthday dearest Amber. Grandma and I have known you since you were a new baby. We have enjoyed every minute of the multitude of times we spent together. Watching you grow from that tiny little baby over at Woodhill, as you went to FSU school where I came to pick you up, to the many places we met to picnic with your family along route 10 to your career as a gymnast. We love you so much that words can never be enough to adequately tell you. We hope to watch you go on to even bigger and better things. The nicest people are seen at Borders. Yes, the Bowmans' were seen at Borders spending their hard earned money. Mama spotted Heather and Kim searching for some way to spend their money. Soon Kim was hugging me. Now that is the way family should be. Heather and Kim, we loved meeting you by accident. Earlier, Conor and Barbra came to see us and Conor spent several hours getting reaquainted with his Grandma and Grandpa. What a wonderful day. Life is great!

Hi Family, Ot was great being with you all today. To be outdoors made it a comfortable day and all had space to explore and see the animals. Thank you Kim and Heather. Lauren I loved your slippers. Cute, but I did not get a picture of you mopping the floor with the slippers on. Sorry. I would like all to send me the latest info on your phone numbers, cell phone numbers and e-mail address's if there has been a change. Better do it anyway so I am sure to get it all right for my records. Things change often so you had better keep me informed or you may miss out. Pass this on to your family if they want me to have their info. Today was great with seeing all that were there, the food and conversation. What a wonderful way to issue in the new year. It was like the old time family reunions I was familiar with in the "Thirties". People provided their own entertainment by interacting with the others. There was some conversation between families and other interaction between members who were across the fire. Most of the conversation in the Army was about the Army. Little cliques, members of the same unit conversing together. "Shop talk" I miss that, but this is not the Army and we are not members of a unit any longer. We are members of a family and the talk is different. The camp fire circle and the woods and such a beautiful day made this the first day of the new year a wonderful experience. This is what being a family is all about. Kids and dogs and people and great food. Everyone who was involved in making today a great day is to be congratulated. May we have another time like this in the near future. Kim has an ideal place to congregate. Mama and I loved being with you all.Happy New Year.
