The month of September is flying past so quickly. It begins to feel like autumn. The mornings have a hint of fall. Leaves are falling and the woods are full of the smell of musty leaves on the path. The Canada Geese are flying in on the lake later in the evening and we hear them off in the distance. Conor is very much a part of our life. We see him growing both mentally and physically. He is learning more words every day and uses them correctly. I take him for walks and it feels like when I did it with Hunter. Spending so much time with Conor makes me love him more and more. I hate to see him go when the day is over. But, I can't be selfish and I love to see Conor with his Mom. Mama and I have been so lucky to have known our Grandchildren. I hope that we will be able to see all of them grow up and go out to live their lives. I thank all of our kids for the great opportunity to interact with our Grandchildren. We love our family and look forward to every opportunity we get to be with you. You have made this period in our life the very best time. We know you are all busy but when you get the chance you often call us to just check in. We love to get Kurt's call as he heads home. We hear the tired sound in his voice but we know he has done his job well. We are so proud of all of you. Nina going to medical seminars and being there with the doctors, and being a nurse who helps others, makes us so proud of her. All of you are in jobs where you are helping others. We are so proud of Kim for we know he is doing an important job in distance learning for the children of this great state. And Barbra is involved in the financial aspect of the clinic. Without her, it would be difficult for the rest to do their job. Yes, we are lucky, for we have seen you all go out into the world to be successful in your chosen profession.

On eighteen September 2003, Conor Thomas Roberson was one year old. Today,20 September 2003, the family celebrated Conor's birthday. Conor got many presents and blew out his one year candle like a professional. Members attending were the Robersons, the Shipleys and the Bowmans. Many pictures were taken to record the day.Conor will not remember his birthday, but the rest of us will. Happy Birthday Conor. We love you.

Kim came to visit. Then the Roberson's and the Shipley's came with their tools and they went up to clean off our porch roof. Thank you all for all that you did. Mama and I could never have done it by our selves. This is what being a family is all about. We love you. life is great.

hey family! just to say hi and remember i love you all!
Another week is over and this one will be remembered. Conor was dancing, yes, dancing, and he got so worked up that he scratched his irus. The pain must have been terrible for when he touched his right eye he cried so hard that big tears appeared. When Barbra arrived, Conor was really in bad shape so Barbra took him to emergency. The doctor said that Conor had scratched his irus and so he prescribed medicine and Barbra took Conor home. Today when Mama and I visited the Robersons, Conor seemed to be better. Well at least better than he had been the day before. Guess the moral of the story is to not get too excited when dancing. It works for me anyway.This month Conor will be one year old. He has had many experiences so far and perhaps he can slow down during the next few years. NOT
Sorry to hear about Connor's trip to the emergency room. I hope he is doing ok.
I love you Amber and Hunter! You are juggling a lot and I am proud of you. Hunter with his football, Drums (which he loves to practice on my table), and Karate and a lot of 5th grade homework. Amber with her gymnastics and high school coarses and she has a lot of homework also.
I got hugged by Alexi Nemoth! If you dont know who he is hes a thirteen time olympic champion!! Hes one of the best guy gymnast in the world!! He even preformed in our gym! My new coach named Alex coached him,so i have a really good coach!!
How quickly time is passing. We have lived through some very interesting times. Our family is still intact and life is still great. Ask not for whom the bells toll, they toll for thee.
