Thanks to everyone for the help on the move. This was probably the most stressfull time our family has SHARED together. We are so fortunate to have the support of each other! Tonight is beer drinking time. I can't wait to vomit on our new carpet.
Hey family, Glad to be home and have talked with most of you. It was great to see my sister and talk with her and also Linda. We sure did see and do alot and also realize we are not what we use to be. Christy let me know what all i can do for you to be of some help. I suppose we will see you Friday if not before. Mama and I are home. We had a wonderful time on vacation. More on the rip later when we get our thoughts collected. In short, the WW2 Museum in New Orlean was fantastic. But, we are both glad to be home in our own house. We missed all of you and look forward to seeing you soon.

Dear Family. Tomorrow, Mama and I are off to Slidel to see Aunt Leona and Linda. We hope to visit the WW2 Museum in New Orleans and if my camcorder works, I will do some shooting as I narrate what we see. Buddy will hang out with Sandy and I thank the Shipleys for their love an kindness. We will miss all of you and hope to see you when we return. Barbra, be careful out on the road and have a good time in Gainsville. Hug Derek for us and give him some sugar. Kurt et al. Great picture--that's a keeper---Nina always looks that way when the good times are flowing ie diet peach tea. I had a great time helping to celebrate Mother's Day, Mom's b-day and thank you all for a wonderful birthday for me and the very useful presents. Got back to the office from Ocala late this afternoon and the office had a cake and card for me-----just in time to have a piece of cake as they were just about to eat it without me. Took some home for Mark----not much left now. Thanks for your notes Mom and Dad---have a great trip to Louisiana.
Happy birthday Claude! how fast the time passes. One day you get up and find that you are middle aged and have all the pain that goes with old age. Too bad that you have become aquainted with Mr. Arthur. On the other hand, middle life is not as bad as it might sound. So, make the best of it and continue to march.

What a beautiful day it was yesterday and this a.m. Joe needed a blanket in the middle of the night. Hope all had a good weekend. It was fun being with family Saturday and Sunday evening. We sure were not a very lively bunch watching "Fiddle on the Roof. Good luck on your move to S.C. Steve and Tricia. I understand it is a beautiful area. It is a beautiful State. I know your family and friends will miss you. I too have a birthday this month. Nina is was great fun to go to the Yard Sales with you on Saturday. Plenty of exercise for me getting in and out of the car. I am plased that we found the things for Barbra. You will have fun doing the trunk. It will be a neat one to have. We will always think about the one we did not get. Smile. Everyone have a good week and give me a call when you have a chance. What a big weekend Mama and I have had. Saturday we watched Fiddler on the Roof with the Arklow Bowmans, We enjoyed every moment of the movie. The movie is old but the message is as fresh as though it happened today. Mama and I sat on the love seat with Amber sitting between us. It was a great evening and we enjoyed our family. We stayed up till midnight and slept like a log on Sunday morning. Then on Sunday evening, we had dinner with the Shipley's. Nina, your ribs were delicious. Following dinner, we watched a HBO movie on Churchill. What a great life this is. Thank you all for loving us.

I for one am happy that the guest book is back in operation. I urge all of you to go to the guest book when ever you go on line. The guest book is a form for us to record the events in our family. Please get your children involved so that they feel it appropriate to add their thoughts and high lights of their lives. Kurt, I like the new color scheme and today I went back and looked at the pictures in the photo gallary. For us, the biggest event this week was on the first of May when Mama and I accompanied Barbra to get baby Roberson's picture taken. We found that he is a boy. What is more important to a mother than seeing her baby and getting a report on his condition. We are looking forward to the next picture when he will be bigger and showing his personality. What a marvel! when we had children there was no way to know what our babies were going to be. And now, parents can get a heads up. Barbra, we love you.
