That's questionable. Actually, your pictures were blurry or your eyes were closed. That's why I try and take 4 or 5 pictures of everybody. Same with Derek's. I wonder if people will be able to understand the postings to actnuts in 50 years. Will they read even read it!?

Just got an E-Mail from my step SON. HE said, that he never had this (the X-Mas holidays) in mind. He further confided with me that Christmas is now just another barbaric holiday, marked by greed, avarice and excess of every kind. He went on to say that if unless the world celebrated HIS birthday in quiet reverance and proper behavior,He was going to remind us all that HE was not born on December 25Th.

Another beautiful day in sunny Florida. This is why we love the South. Who would want to live up North? Cold, Snow, freezing rain and worst of all those nasty yankee's If ever you have to go North again take one of the transplanted yankee's with you and leave them when you return to Tallahassee. It is totally beautiful this afternoon. Mama and I took Conor wir a walk. It reminds me of when our Hunter used to come to be with us. What a way to bond with our grandchildren! Life is totally grand. And why? cause we have our family within a shot distance from us. May God bless our family and the UNited States of America.

Mama and I usually have a rather quiet Friday evening. But last evening, Conor came to us while Barbra and Derek attended a party. That Conor is growing so fast. When we hold him, his little legs go so fast as though he wants to walk. Why not? his sister Sarah walked at seven months and Conor can't be outdone. He was dressed so nice and he looked like a little Scottsman. Thank you for bringing Conor to his grandparents to make a dull Friday night into a happy time. Life is great!

Thank you Nina and Barbra! our daughters are the best. Today they came prepared to do the kitchen. It was hard for Mama to sit back and let her girls do a good deed. But, Conor came along and so Mama was able to relax. The kitchen is now spick and span and we thank Nina and Barbra for all their help. So, let me say once more that we have the best kids anywhere. The boys and the girls do so much for us that we can't say enough good things about them. Life just can't get any better.
WOW! I can't believe so much has happened since I got booted off of AOL. Kurt always said, AOL stinks. Well, now you can add my voice to that. AOL SUCKS! But no time to dwell on the past. Here today Mama and I are on the high speed line. It is soo fast I should be wearing a safety belt. Yes folks I do love my puter. I guess I will call him Hal. Amber, it was great walking with you, Hunter and your Dad this morning. Nina, MJ and Buddy were with us too. AJ Henry Park is one of my favorites. Te woods in winter is so pretty with the falling leaves and the long shadows. Some day, I hope to be in the woods by the bridge forever.
It was another first. Conor accompanied Mama and Me to the liquor store. At first Conor was worried that they might “card him” but no sweat. He soon was looking over the wines and he recommended Black Tower to me. 1995. It was a very good year, Conor remarked. Now it is Saturday and already I miss my grandson. Oh well, he has to be with his parents some time. This is Adam’s birthday. December seventh. Soon he will be driving. Another worry, but there again his parents will supervise and surely he will abide by their wishes and instruction. How could I ever forget the date of his birth? We have known Adam since he was just a baby and we have seen him grow up to be a fine looking young man. How lucky we are to have such good grandchildren. Why are we so close to Adam? It is because Barbra brings her kids to see us. She teaches her children good manners. That is the most important job a parent has. Keeping them alive till they are able to fend for themselves. Then teaching them good manners of discipline and good citizenship. Barbra, we are proud of you.

Another week is over. I remember when I was young, how good it was to have another week over. It was one less week in Korea or in Viet Nam or a tough week of one sort of the other. I loved Friday afternoon. But now, it is one less week of my life and is no reason to rejoice. It is one less week of happiness or to walk in the woods. One less day with my honey Bea. But today was great anyway. After picking up my medicine, Buddy and I went to Tom Brown park and walked. It was cold and windy the leaves were falling and it was a wonderful time. Walking with my Buddy is one of the nicest things I can do. He never complains. He never tells sad things or bad thigs. He appreciates everything I do for him and best of all he is ready to walk anytime I say the word. It is a beautiful autumn afternoon in December. It is not snowing like it is up north. It is just a wonderful day. Nina dropped in to chat and hug Conor and he performed for her. He is so sweet and its no wonder that everyone loves him. Thank you God for everything
Mama and I love the Bowman Family Christmas card. Can you believe that Christmas is so close? Last Christmas, America was still smarting from 911. But today, most have forgotten that terrible day. What a difference a year makes. Americans take the ups and down's of life and go on. That is what life is all about. Suck it up and go on with your life.
Life is so great! Mark called this afternoon and suggested we go for a walk. When he arrived, we loaded Buddy in the 4 Runner and we three went to the school walk on Centerville. What a nice thing to do. The best things in life are the ones you don't plan on. I do love Mark and enjoy his company. Being a grandpa is a wonderful job. We picked up Conor at the hospital first thing this morning where he was checked out for congestion. The diagnosis is that he has a little nose. A LITTLE NOSE? it is so cute I have to hug him. So, our life goes on. Mama and I enjoy every moment. Barbra eat's dinner with us and we talk over the events of the day. What more can we ever ask for? It's not money that makes the world go around...it's love and we have plenty of it. Thanks to you our kids and our grandchildren.

Conor has had more "firsts" during his first six months than many people have during their lifetime. Last Saturday he attened his first bonfire out at Kim's property. The day was cool and the fire felt good. Derek had his son with him and Conor was introduced to the woods. Today, Conor went to the bank. He didn't withdraw any money and he didn't deposit any money. But, he looked around and he is now thinking how he will invest in the market. Here's my advice, Conor...Put half your money into cash. With the other half, put 1/3rd into a good mutual fund. Put the second third into blue chip stocks. And with the last half, you may be adventuresome and look for active stocks. But, you must be an active investor. Watch the market closely and chart their course daily. With that advice, you will be a wealthy man some day.
